These two Continuing Medical Education (CME) online courses, Lasers & Light Physics and Safety and Laser & IPL Hair Reduction, are systematized to include many interactive modules. Each module engages you in educational narrative with PowerPoint slide presentations, extensive workbooks and corresponding unit examinations tailored towards multiple practice specialties.

Continuing Medical Education Accreditation

AKH Inc. is accredited by the ACCME to offer continuing medical education for physicians. AKH Inc. designates these enduring activities for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ (Laser & Light Physics and Safety) and a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ (Laser and IPL Hair Reduction). NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME.

In order to receive credit, participants should watch the entire videos and read the associated workbooks. Once this has been completed, you will continue to the online quiz and evaluation. A passing score of 80% on the quiz is required to receive credit. A certificate will be available in your transcripts upon successful completion of the quiz and evaluation.
